Art is a channel for self-expression and a bridge for building community. It’s a mindful practice that allows us to create a vision of our present consciousness. In this workshop we begin the process of creating mindfully through Art Journaling.

We come together in community to mindfully engage our presence, acceptance and curiosity as a way of exploring and being in relationship with Earth and all her beings. As we experience the world in this way -- beyond the conceptual and analytical part of our brain -- we find ourselves in a different field of being, one that invites us to re-member our profound connection with ourselves, each other and this planet we call Home.
Living in a time of transformation can bring out the worst in us and the best in us. This workshop focuses on embodying our highest values as we navigate, co-create, and evolve individually, culturally, and globally.
In this workshop we'll explore how compassion (for ourselves and others) is one of the best ways of dealing with challenging times, as well as a profound foundation for acting for positive change.
